From accountancy to renewable energy pioneer
Travis started his career at global accountancy firms EY and Grant Thornton where he was responsible for executing audits for major corporations, government entities and charities. An engagement at Drax Power Station in Yorkshire, sparked Travis’ interest in the energy sector.
This interest turned into a passion when Travis took on a role at the UK’s largest renewable energy developer where he oversaw more than 150 projects and helped the company prepare for its IPO on the London Stock Exchange.

While working for developers, Travis realised that landowners often lacked the specialised knowledge needed to negotiate optimal terms and returns for the renewable energy projects on their land.
